A brand new  release from the Joesph Phelps Family of wines, these expressions of true varietal form are outstanding….priced to be drank (or held) and show all the efforts of handcrafted production from a company rooted in quality product.

Freestone Vineyards

2008 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

A refreshingly subtle approach to California Chardonnay, Floral and delicate on the nose with hints of orange immediately on the tongue, fruit is presence through the mid-range but not abused by oak or malo, the finish is yeasty but lighter than expected. The elegance of this wine is amazing considering the density and depth of flavor.

2007 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Green at the moment, with classic French feel, whole mustard seed and haystack aromas are aggressive at first but soften to an earthy underbrush with a few minutes. Balanced as of now but will significantly improve with bottle age, if drinking now pair with cheese preferably something made with mushrooms or truffle.
